Trois Regards is part of a reflection on the porosity between object, architecture, and use. More than a simple piece of furniture, it offers a layered reading of space, where each function becomes a mode of perception. Integrated into a universe grounded in formal rigor and repetition, Trois Regards becomes support, rhythm, and structure—an element capable of engaging in dialogue with a series without dissolving into it. The piece operates through three simultaneous registers: to show, to contain, and to pass through. It thus stages a triple experience—looking at the displayed object, at the storage function, and through the structure itself. The latter, conceived as an open framework, introduces the ability to partition space without enclosing it, establishing a boundary without rupture. Formally, Trois Regards favors a minimal language: clean lines, controlled proportions, and a silent materiality. The lacquered wood, through its depth and its ability to absorb or reflect light, reinforces this ambivalence between presence and disappearance. At the intersection of furniture and spatial device, Trois Regards engages in a reflection on how an object can structure both gaze and the space it inhabits.

Good to know
Imagined in 2005 for Guerlain within its historic boutique on the Champs-Élysées, the project responds to a dual requirement: to display and to contain, while fitting into a context rich in memory and representation. The object operates as a discreet device, capable of orchestrating the presentation without ever overwhelming it. Its deployment within the spaces of Anne Fontaine further confirms this logic of adaptability, demonstrating a design approach in which form remains constant while its spatial interpretation evolves according to context.
