In 2012, Olivia Putman collaborated with Charles Paris to create Jour de Fête, a collection featuring decorative objects, including a distinctive lantern lamp. Inspired by traditional Chinese lanterns, the lamp is crafted in bronze with finely chiseled slats, offering a delicate interplay of light and shadow.
With this piece, Putman designed an object that unites artisanal craftsmanship, material finesse, and a festive aesthetic. The bronze folds with precision, light seeps through the slats, and the design becomes sculpture — a discreet symbol of shared elegance.
