Gaïa & Gino x Andrée Putman, 2006
Gaïa & Gino x Andrée Putman
2006
In 2006, Andrée Putman collaborated with the Turkish design house Gaïa & Gino to create the Lucky collection — a series of porcelain vases and bowls inspired by motifs from ancient Turkish figurative arts. True to her sense of purity and balance, Putman reinterpreted the universal symbol of the four-leaf clover, transforming it into a sculptural and graphic composition rich with meaning. Conceived as a modern-day talisman, the Lucky collection embodies Andrée Putman’s art of design: elevating simplicity, giving form to emotion, and infusing everyday objects with discreet and refined beauty.
