Andrée Putman and the creators of the Modern Movement, CAB Foundation Saint-Paul de Vence

CAB Foundation in Saint-Paul de Vence hosts an exhibition outside the walls by the Villa Noailles, dedicated to the rediscovery work carried out by Andrée Putman. She brought a forgotten chapter of the Modern Movement out of the shadows, patiently awakening history by protecting, promoting, and disseminating the then-neglected works of great architects. Once supported by enlightened patrons such as the Viscount and Viscountess de Noailles, these 1920s avant-garde pioneers are brought back into the spotlight here. The exhibition celebrates Andrée Putman’s deep connection to these creators who, a century ago, laid the foundations for our modern way of life.
