In 2006, Anne Fontaine opened a flagship boutique in Tokyo’s Omotesando district, designed by Andrée Putman, extending the universe of the white shirt through elegant curves and refined aesthetics. The interior is distinguished by enveloping display cases, a delicately designed staircase, and a celebration of natural light through a bright and airy layout.
The façade, accented with wood panels projecting perpendicularly, offers a harmonious contrast between modernity and Japanese tradition. Inside, noble materials such as wood and stone, combined with transparency and light effects, create a soft, intimate atmosphere where the shirts are presented as precious objects.
