For Bel Ouvrage Venezia: Il Corpo della Materia, during the Venice Contemporary Art Biennale, hosted at the historic 15th-century Chiostro della Madonna dell’Orto, Andrée Putman Studio has designed a transformative scenography. Rigid hangings interact with natural light and the Venetian breeze, creating a poetic tension between opacity and transparency. At the heart of this spatial journey stands the Mille et un Carré collector’s edition table, marking the centenary of Andrée Putman. Adorned with silver-leaf gilded glass tiles, this iconic piece unanimously won the prestigious Bel Ouvrage prize, beautifully embodying the true essence of master craftsmanship.
