In 2008, at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the Entrevue collection for Bisazza, designed by Andrée Putman, revealed a composed aesthetic, where mosaic tiles become a graphic element in their own right. Among the standout pieces, the Correspondances desk juxtaposes lacquered surfaces with contrasting mosaic patterns, punctuated by a gilded tile, introducing a subtle visual play to a rigorous form.
The scenography presented at Superstudio Più highlighted this edition as a modular work: overlapping surfaces, chromatic variations, and a dialogue between texture and light. Entrevue demonstrates how Putman explored mosaic not only as ornamentation but as a structural and decorative language.
