Bonne aventure bench

This bench is inspired by the piano stool designed for Pleyel in 2009 by Andrée Putman. Made of natural oak, it highlights the nobility and simplicity of the wood, while crystal spheres punctuate the ends of the structure. This contrast between a raw, warm material and the precious transparency of crystal reflects an opposition dear to Andrée Putman’s work. The designer liked to combine materials with different visual and tactile qualities in order to create a subtle balance between simplicity, sophistication, and formal poetry.
