Bally Store, Zurich
1990
Entrusted to Andrée Putman in the early 1990s, the Bally project in Zurich reinvented the Swiss house’s flagship store, reconciling artisanal heritage with a contemporary language. Within a setting of majestic lines and materials of understated elegance, the space exudes an almost institutional atmosphere. Fluid circulation guides both the eye and the movement, revealing a universe where luxury is expressed through restraint and precision. Here, Andrée Putman succeeded in giving Bally an iconic setting, combining timeless modernity with heritage prestige.
