In 2013, on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the museum’s renovation, Le Temps des Collections presented a scenography designed by Olivia Putman, giving a renewed voice to the permanent collections. Visitors were invited to rediscover the museum’s holdings from a fresh perspective, through unexpected juxtapositions, works brought out from storage, and thematic routes revealing the richness and diversity of the heritage. Each space became a setting for the artworks: exhibition rooms, the library, and the new temporary routes were organized so that light, objects, and museographic gestures interacted in an aesthetic harmony. The scenography unfolded with subtlety, respecting both the original architecture and the welcoming spirit of the museum.
