In San Sebastián, Spain, Andrée Putman took part in the transformation of three small apartments into a large contemporary residence filled with light. The space is entirely reorganized around a long central gallery that structures circulation and connects the different rooms of the home. Carefully selected materials — oak, Macassar ebony, patinated iron, and lacquer — create a sober and harmonious palette. Custom-designed furniture integrates seamlessly with the architecture, becoming a structural element of the space itself. True to the Putman spirit, the project expresses a precise and timeless aesthetic, where geometry and light give the interior its essential elegance.
