In 1995, Andrée Putman designed the interiors of the Sheraton at Charles de Gaulle Airport, an ambitious project located at the heart of Terminal 2. Conceived as a haven of calm within the flow of air travel, the hotel embodies a serene luxury based on fluidity, light, and restraint.
Spaces unfold around a large interior nave, where transparency and symmetry guide the eye. Natural materials, mineral tones, and bespoke furniture all contribute to an atmosphere of contemporary serenity, far from the hustle of the terminal. Here, every perspective evokes the silent movement of a journey, and every reflection extends the horizon. The Sheraton becomes a suspended interlude between sky and earth, a transitional space transformed into an experience, where elegance breathes and light becomes the destination.
